Monthy Favourites #1

I know it’s super cliché thing to bang on about how quickly the year has flown by, but seriously – how the hell is it nearly November?! What’s all that about?

Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator - Gilded Honey - If you haven't already tried this highlighter I highly recommend it! It's not like typical highlighters with chunks of glitter in them, this is really light and smooth. I really like that it's buildable as well, so for everyday I'm fairly light handed and then for and evening I go in hard! It's amazing!

MAC Cosmetics Lip Pencil & Lipstick - Whirl - I've been loving the change in seasons and embracing the Autumnal colours with this warm pink/brown nude lip combo. It's been a long-term favourite but I've been reaching for it a lot more this month.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe Herbs And Rosewater - This little gem is slowly starting to replace my Mac Fix Plus. The Mac Fix Plus does set your make up and makes your highlighter pop but it doesn't do anything past that (for me anyways). The Mario Badescu Spray has skincare qualities as well so I can use it in multiple ways (after toning, setting makeup, refreshing makeup, when I'm hungover like now...) This stuff is amazing!
Makeup Geek Eyeshadows - Basically Mac need to watch out on the eyeshadow front, Makeup Geek are coming for them. They have such a large colour range and are constantly coming out with new colours and palette. You can also buy empty pallettes so that you can build and customise you're own pallette which is fab as I always find there's always one or two shadows I avoid with pre-made palletes. They're super creamy so easy to blend and at only £5.50 per pan they're a friggin steal! The shades I'm reaching for the most are Crème Brulee, Frappé, Mocha, Desert Sands and Morocco.

NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick - Sandstorm - Other than Mac Whirl, this is basically the only other lip colour I have been using this month, I'm pretty sure I'm almost out. It's easy to apply, really lightweight and goes with everything. Easy!
