Skincare Squad

Everyone has a different skin type, my skin is combination, aka I get oily in my t-zone. I tend to get spotty if I'm hormonal and/or eating a lot of crap, but let's face it those two go hand in hand (and I love McDonalds - no shame). Oh, and I ALWAYS without fail, take off my makeup before bed (sober, drunk and or otherwise)!
CLEANSE
  • Camomile Silky Cleansing Extract - I love this for taking off all my makeup! Straight to the face (no water needed), all round hello panda eyes and then wipe it off with a warm flannel.
  • Superfacialist Rose Hydrate Cleanser - Yes, I use two cleansers. The first is to remove make up, this second one is to really cleanse the skin. Follow the same process as before.
TONE
  • Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner - This is a holy grail product for me! This toner gently exfoliates and refreshes your skin after cleansing. Gone are the days of pinching your mums St Ives Apricot Scrub! This bit completely smooths and preps your skin for whatever you're going to put on afterwards.
  • Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe Herbs & Rosewater - again, another holy grail product for me (amen to my best gal for recommending this to me)! I mist this over my face after cleansing, after applying makeup, when I need a refresh mid-day.... you get the gist.
HYDRATE
  • La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo[+] - If you haven't heard of this product, where have you been?! It's a lightweight moisturiser which unclogs and corrects your skin, by reducing the appearance of imperfections and purifying pores. I'm on my 10,8364th tube. Need I say more?
  • La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Intense Eyes - There’s only one eye cream out there for me, this cooling, hydrating tube of loveliness. Just what I need in the morning to wake my eyes up! Pop it in the fridge an hour before using it for whenever you feel like you need an extra cool boost to the bags (eye bags).
MASK IT
  • L'Oreal Paris Pure Clay Purity Mask - I apply this to clean skin 2-3 times a week for 10 mins, then wipe it off with a warm flannel. If you're feeling flush or if your skin isn’t best pleased right now and you fancy speeding things up I'd opt for the GLAMGLOW Supermud. I through caution to the wind and slathered this on in the run up to my wedding!
